M. K. (Kathy) Farr works on paper or canvas with watercolor, acrylics, collage and mixed media. She was born in Houston, Texas. She majored in Fine Arts and received her B.A. from Rice University in 1967. She had a 22 year career at Mitchell Energy Corporation as Drafting and Graphics supervisor. In 2002 she was able to turn her attention to painting full time.

Farr is a member of the Watercolor Art Society – Houston, The Society of Layerists in Multimedia, and The National Watercolor Society. Her paintings are in corporate and private collections in Houston, Austin, and College Station, Texas, and in Massachusetts.
